Terms & Conditions
Including voice and AI data usage terms.
Introduction and acceptance
Welcome to genyios, an AI powered customer communication platform operated by Connecta DXB L.L.C-FZ, a free zone company registered in the United Arab Emirates under licence number 2531005.01 (“Connecta DXB”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the genyios platform, including its voice agent, chat agent, email automation, WhatsApp integration, knowledge base, and lead management features, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including businesses onboarding as clients and end users who interact with AI agents deployed through the platform.
Description of service
genyios provides a multi channel AI agent platform that enables businesses to automate customer conversations across the following channels:
- Voice calls: AI powered inbound and outbound voice agents using Speech to Text (STT), Large Language Model (LLM), and Text to Speech (TTS) technology.
- WhatsApp: business messaging via Telnyx connected WhatsApp Business accounts.
- Email automation: AI monitored inbox with automated response and lead capture.
- Web chat: embeddable chat widget for client websites.
Additional features include knowledge base management, website scraping for agent training, voice cloning, multilingual support across 99+ languages, lead capture, conversation transcripts, and a real time analytics dashboard.
Account registration and onboarding
To use genyios, clients must register an account by providing accurate business information including name, work email, and company details. During the onboarding period, account activation is processed manually by the genyios team. Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and are liable for all activity under their account.
Client accounts are multi-tenant and isolated. Your knowledge base, agent configurations, call data, leads, and conversation transcripts are not accessible to other clients on the platform.
AI agent usage and conduct
Clients may configure AI agents for legitimate business purposes only. You agree not to use genyios agents to:
- Impersonate individuals, government bodies, or regulated institutions without lawful authority.
- Conduct unsolicited bulk communications or spam campaigns.
- Collect sensitive personal data (financial, medical, biometric) without appropriate consent and legal basis.
- Engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading practices.
- Violate applicable telecommunications, consumer protection, or data protection laws.
genyios reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these terms without prior notice.
Voice calls, AI voice agents, and voice cloning
5.1 Recording and transcription
All voice interactions handled by genyios AI agents may be transcribed and logged for the purposes of lead capture, quality assurance, analytics, and knowledge base improvement. By deploying a genyios voice agent, the client accepts responsibility for ensuring that end users are informed that they are speaking with an AI and that the conversation may be recorded.
5.2 Voice cloning
genyios offers a voice cloning feature that allows clients to upload a reference voice recording to create a synthetic voice for their AI agent. By uploading a voice sample, you confirm that:
- You are the owner of the voice, or you have explicit written consent from the person whose voice is being cloned.
- The cloned voice will only be used for legitimate business communications through the genyios platform.
- You will not use voice cloning to impersonate any individual without their consent.
genyios is not liable for any misuse of the voice cloning feature by clients or their end users.
5.3 SIP and telephony
Voice call routing is handled via SIP/Asterisk infrastructure with SIP-TLS encryption for signalling and SRTP for media streams. Concurrent call capacity is subject to your subscription tier. Calls exceeding the concurrent limit will receive a standard busy signal (SIP 486).
5.4 AI disclosure
Clients are responsible for disclosing to their end users that they are interacting with an AI agent, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in their operating jurisdiction.
WhatsApp and messaging channels
WhatsApp integration is provided via Telnyx. Each client is provisioned a dedicated WhatsApp Business number. Clients must comply with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Policy and Telnyx’s acceptable use policy. Usage fees for dedicated numbers and message volume are billed to the client as part of their subscription or usage plan.
Email automation connects to the client’s own email inbox via IMAP/SMTP. The client grants genyios read access to process incoming emails and send responses on their behalf. The client is responsible for ensuring their email usage complies with applicable anti spam laws.
Knowledge base and website scraping
Clients may upload documents and provide website URLs for the AI agent’s knowledge base. By doing so, you confirm that:
- You own or have the right to use all uploaded content.
- The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
- You have the right to scrape and use content from any URLs submitted.
genyios uses vector-based retrieval (RAG) to deliver accurate, knowledge base grounded responses. genyios is not responsible for inaccurate agent responses resulting from incorrect or incomplete knowledge base content provided by the client.
Subscription, pricing, and payment
genyios services are offered on a subscription basis. Pricing tiers, included features, and usage limits are defined in the pricing schedule communicated at onboarding. Payments are processed via Stripe.
Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing period. Usage based charges, for example Telnyx WhatsApp number fees or additional call minutes, are billed in arrears.
Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension of service. All fees are non-refundable unless stated in the Refund Policy. genyios reserves the right to update pricing with 30 days written notice to active subscribers.
Data retention and security
Call transcripts, conversation logs, lead data, and agent configurations are stored securely in isolated, per tenant databases. genyios applies encryption in transit (TLS/SRTP) and at rest. Clients may request deletion of their data upon account termination, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Intellectual property
The genyios platform, name, logo, and all associated software, features, and content are the intellectual property of Connecta DXB. Clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for their internal business purposes during the subscription period.
Limitation of liability
genyios is provided on an “as is” basis. Connecta DXB makes no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy of AI responses, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connecta DXB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
The total aggregate liability of genyios to any client shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client in the three months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days written notice. genyios may terminate or suspend access immediately in the event of a material breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful use of the platform. Upon termination, client data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes to these terms
genyios reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
